Brighten and Build Scholarship Program
Area dentists are provided with supplies needed
to offer home bleaching to their patients in
exchange for a minimum donation to the Giving
Hand Foundation Brighten and Build Program of
$200. This money is placed in an endowment
account at Merrill Lynch. As the need arises, the
scholarship committee of the foundation will
decide on disbursements of scholarship money. It
is the intent of the Giving Hand Foundation to
assist needy students interested in health care
related fields and to assist those who want to go
on our mission trips. Our goal is to add a minimum
of $10,000 each year to the endowment account,
ultimately reaching the point where no principal
will be withdrawn as scholarships are awarded.
